RHCC BOARD MEMBERS
DR. GEORGE VERRILLI, President
Dr. Verrilli is a retired physician, husband to Chris, and father of seven children. He is the founder and benefactor of the Red Hook Community Center, Neugarten Birth Center, and proprietor of Eastgate Motors.
PAUL FINCH, Vice President
Paul has proudly served as Superintendent of Schools in Red Hook since 2006. Prior to that time, he held administrative positions with the Wappingers Central School District and the Chappaqua Central School District. He holds an M.A. in Curriculum and Teaching from Columbia University, a Master of Science degree in School Administration from Fordham University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Marist College. Paul lives with his wife Trisha and their three children in Red Hook.
KAREN BARIGHT, Treasurer
Karen moved to Red Hook when she married her husband 35 years ago. They raised their two grown boys here. Karen is the CFO of their family run businesses. She is happy to bring her bookkeeping skills to the center as Treasurer.
Rose retired in 2000 as Vice President/CFO of Northern Dutchess Hospital, and more recently retired as Budget Officer, Town of Red Hook. Currently starting a term of Co-Presidency Rhinebeck/Red Hook AARP. Resident of Red Hook for 47 years. Mother of two girls - Jody Slier and Heather O'Keeffe - 7 grandchildren, 10 great- grandchildren.
Karen Jerro is Operations Manager of Alpha Reactor Corp. and Owner of One Less Thing Inc. Her present community affiliations include: Secretary of Red Hook NY Chamber Of Commerce, Board Member of Red Hook Community Center, and Chair of Northern Dutchess Community Coalition. Karen is a BBA Graduate of A&M University. She is a 13 year resident of Red Hook, NY and mother to 21 year old Alexandria Nicole Jerro-Greco.
Alejandra is a CPA at Karp, Ackerman, Skabowski & Hogan P.C. She is a Red Hook High School graduate and SUNY New Paltz graduate with an MBA in Accounting.
THOMAS COSTELLO, Ph.D.
Tommy teaches at SUNY Dutchess Community College, and holds an M.Phil in Irish Theatre and Film from Trinity College, Dublin, and a Ph.D. in Theatre and Performance from the University of Pittsburgh. He lives in Red Hook with his wife and two children. Locally, he has worked and performed with the Porch Story Hour, Storyhorse Documentary Theatre, and The Ancram Opera House.
JENNIE SWANTZ STOKUM
As a Red Hook resident for 17 years, Jennie is focused on service to her community and the nonprofit field. Jennie holds a BA from Vassar College majoring in Environmental Studies for Education. In 2016 Jennie founded The Nonprofit Gardener - a grant writing and consulting company focused on supporting small nonprofit organizations in resource development. She is also President of the Swantz Family Foundation. Jennie has two daughters - Karana (18) and Aurora (14) - who have grown up in the community of Red Hook.
